As an associate, Alfredo brings to The Alta Group a wealth of international business experience that benefits companies seeking to expand their businesses in Chile. He has advised banks, government agencies, insurance companies and other enterprises on strategies for broadening their customer base, financial products and partner initiatives; identified market shifts; and helped clients achieve greater efficiencies.

Alfredo serves as advisor to several financial groups on managerial risks and business opportunities in their fields, and has helped to identify acquisition targets in non-financial companies.

He has more than 26 years experience in senior management positions at financial institutions in Chile, including Banco Santander, Manufacturers Hanover Leasing Corporation, Chase Manhattan Leasing, Leasing Banco Sudamericano and Banco del Estado de Chile. Alfredo also has led his own financial consulting firm.

He was a member of the board of ACHEL (Chilean Leasing Association) and since 2004 has served on the council of FOSIS, a fund created by the Chilean Ministry of Planning to provide assistance to social development projects.

Alfredo promotes the leasing industry as executive director of a graduate program on leasing and factoring at the Universidad de Valparaiso, and as associate speaker for the Universidad Federico Santa Maria on financial matters.
