Private equity firm wishes to purchase a company with more than 100,000 chassis located across North America

SITUATION

Alta was engaged by a Private Equity firm to perform sampling inspections at ten locations across N.A. and provide appraisal of more than 100 thousand chassis in thirty days.

SOLUTION

Several teams of inspectors performed sampling onsite inspections, and the entire fleet of chassis was appraised at wholesale and retail values, with a suggested exit strategy. Engagement was completed to the satisfaction of the PE firm, and the purchase was consummated.
