Fran Maier is chief financial officer of The Alta Group and a seasoned global leasing and finance executive with more than two decades in the equipment leasing and finance industry. He provides advisory services to the firm’s Management Consulting Practice, specifically in the area of captive/vendor consulting and the growing field of managed solutions transactions.

He has extensive experience with vendor/captive platforms for customers from small and medium businesses to large nation-wide and global enterprises. Prior to joining Alta, Fran was vice president and global general manager for Xerox Financial Services, where he led the development and execution of business and financing strategies supporting a $6 billion captive lease portfolio spanning 31 countries. His contributions, in addition to superior lease penetration and financial results, included the successful execution of a wing-to-wing global transformation to improve organizational efficiency and enhanced productivity.

Fran holds a Master of Business Administration in Finance and Corporate Accounting from the William E. Simon School of Business, Rochester, NY.
