Senior Managing Director – Latin America

Melvin Lobo Dinis is a Senior Managing Director at The Alta Group in the Latin American Region. With more than twenty years in the leasing industry in Central America, Melvin brings extensive experience in market entry, credit analysis, vendor programs, training, and funding to clients in the Central America and Caribbean zone.

Prior to joining Alta, Melvin provided consulting and in-house training to several leasing and renting companies and to multinational corporations like Banco Nacional de Costa Rica, Leasing Bancolombia, BAC Leasing, Multibank, Banco BICSA, BCT Leasing, CSI Leasing, CHG Meridian, Lingo Leasing, Cathay Leasing, Improsa Leasing, National Car Rental. CrediQ Leasing, ATI Capital, Arrienda Xpress (Inchcape) and Sixt. Melvin has also worked extensively with rental companies and vendors like Toyota, Ford, Hyundai, Izusu, Lexus, VW, Hino, BYD, Fiat, Ducati, Artic Cat, Chevrolet, Landini, Case New Holland (CNH) and Oracle.                  

Melvin is native Spanish speaker and fluent in English. Since 2010 Melvin has been chairman and regular speaker at Alta’s Latin American Leasing Conference.
