Global client’s board challenged by shareholder to justify market presence


A client’s board  was challenged by the shareholder to justify their market presence in a number of smaller geographies. The client had no independent data to demonstrate their market positioning and justify the returns being made in that area


The Alta group mobilized local experts to deliver a competitive benchmarking and positioning for the local entities.  After an initial round of three countries was delivered, the client’s board was impressed, so a further round was requested to cover all the remaining geographies. The board used the reports to sharpen their local strategies
