SITUATION

A manufacturing company with an existing, exclusive USA equipment finance relationship sought The Alta Group’s assistance in assessing the market competitiveness of their customer financing program. Company leadership desired to optimize delivery of financing across all key growth markets including North America, Latin America, Europe, and Asia.

SOLUTION

Alta assessed the existing finance agreement against existing market options available in the client’s industry. Then we delivered a plan to create global virtual captive capability and created an RFP document to solicit proposals from potential partners. The RFP process included outreach and identification of potential partners, a customized RFP scorecard and recommendations for the optimal funding partner. Once the partner was selected, we assisted in structured and negotiating the finance funding relationships.
