Ian is the founder of Invigors Asset Management and an executive director and co-owner of Invigors EMEA. A globally-experienced asset management and remarketing professional, expert in both vendor finance and direct leasing, Ian is an industry leader who bridges the gap from high level business and asset management strategy through to the structuring of customer transactions, with a deep understanding of the practicalities of systems, processes, and organizational delivery.
Ian is one of the premier global experts in asset management, regularly speaking at conferences around the world and advising clients on the optimisation of their strategies. Prior to joining Invigors he was Director of Asset Management and Remarketing globally for DLL, overseeing a multi-billion portfolio of residuals.
Ian started his career in international strategic consulting before moving into finance and then into the Dell programme. From Dell and the other European CIT programmes to specialise in asset management. He subsequently moved to Siemens Financial Services at their Munich HQ before moving to DLL.
Ian believes the asset finance industry has a pivotal role to play in facilitating the ever-more productive use of equipment by customers and society at large. ESG trends around circular business models and optimising equipment lifecycles are driving real change for both end-customers and OEMs, and Ian is delighted to be able to play a part in this transformation.
Outside of work Ian is passionate about sport and exercise, participating mainly in cycling and skiing, and thoroughly enjoys sharing these interests with his wife and family. Ian has a degree in mechanical engineering from Manchester University and a postgraduate engineering qualification in engineering design, manufacture and management from Cambridge University.
