Gary LoMonaco, a director who has worked with The Alta Group since 2021, now leads the consultancy’s Business Assessment Practice, which can help clients with pre-acquisition due diligence, ongoing operational assessments, lender due diligence and other efforts. LoMonaco brings considerable experience in credit, due diligence and business operations analysis to the role.

Alta Group Leaders Recognized in Monitor’s 50th Anniversary Edition
John Deane, co-founder and board member for The Alta Group, and Bruce Kropschot, senior managing director for the group’s Mergers and Acquisitions
Practice, were profiled in the 50th Anniversary commemorative issue of the Monitor, released in June, for their leadership over many decades in the equipment finance and leasing industry.
Deane was recognized as CEO of the Decade for the 1970s. Kropschot accepted the award of “Industry Legend” as the magazine celebrated five decades of publishing dedicated to the industry. Tom Wajnert, Chairman Emeritus, The Alta Group and former chairman and CEO of AT&T Capital, was named CEO of the Decade for the 1990s.
Leasing Industry Goes Back to the Future
Paul Bent, Senior Managing Director with The Alta Group, examines how the leasing industry has evolved over five decades, and how emerging services-based and subscription-based business models are taking a cue from past trends.
